Badung, InfoPublik – Wuling has once again has been chosen as the official car partner for an international event, the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership and the 2 nd Indonesia Africa Forum (HLF-MSP and 2nd IAF 2024). This prestigious forum will take place from September 1-3, 2024, in Bali. 

At this international event, Wuling continues to uphold the spirit of "Shaping Clean Tomorrow," contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.

A total of 158 electric vehicles (EVs) from Wuling, comprising 100 BinguoEV units and 58 CloudEV units, will be deployed for this event.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, a handover ceremony for the Wuling EV units was held at the State Secretariat, marking the beginning of Wuling's participation as an official car partner in HLF-MSP and 2nd IAF 2024.

"At least 52 countries from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific Islands are expected to send delegates to this summit. We hope that Wuling can continue to collaborate with the Indonesian government for other international events in the future as a manifestation of the State Secretariat's commitment to supporting the transformation of environmentally friendly transportation technology in Indonesia," stated Eka Denny Mansjur, Head of the General Bureau of the State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, during the vehicle handover ceremony on Friday, August 30, 2024.

At the event, 158 units of Wuling electric vehicles were handed over symbolically, reflecting Wuling's commitment to supporting environmentally friendly mobility during this international forum.

Wuling's participation in international events has begun since the G20 in 2022, and until now, Wuling has consistently been trusted as an official car partner in high-level conferences," said Wang Weisen, Vice President of Wuling Motors.

In this series of events, Wuling assigned 42 Cloud EV units to serve as protocol and rescue units for VVIPs, and 16 units were used for the operational needs of the national committee during the event. Meanwhile, 100 BinguoEV units were deployed as mobility partners for the delegates.

Both Wuling EV models are produced at Wuling's factory in Cikarang with a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of more than 40%, demonstrating Wuling's commitment to supporting the domestic electric vehicle industry.

The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has invited representatives from Zimbabwe and Tanzania to open booths at this business exhibition as a part of its efforts to enhance bilateral trade between Indonesia and Africa.

Bilateral trade between Indonesia and Zimbabwe in 2023 reached US$85.1 million, with a 5.32% growth rate over the past five years. Meanwhile, trade with Tanzania reached US$317.8 million, with a 5.21% growth rate in the same period.

Indonesia's main exports to Zimbabwe include textiles, household appliances, and food products, while exports to Tanzania include palm oil, paper, textiles, and chemical products.

This exhibition is expected to create more opportunities for cooperation and collaboration to boost trade between the two regions.
